Adam Sprecace Biographical Information

Adam Sprecace was born in 1970 and is a native and nearly life-long resident of New London. Before moving back to the City in 2006 with his wife Jean and daughters Samantha, and Kaila, Adam lived in Groton where he has worked at Electric Boat, currently as an Engineering Supervisor, since 1994.

Adam is a graduate of St. Bernard High School, received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer (Troy, NY) and is one of Connecticut’s licensed Professional Engineers.

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Higher Edge College Access Program and serves as its Treasurer. Adam is also a member of the Pastoral Council for St. Joseph Parish and was a mentor for the NLHS STEM Whalers Robotics Team (No. 3719).

Adam is a Private Pilot and current Mission Pilot for the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol. He is the youngest son of Dr. and Mrs. George Sprecace. Adam has been a member of the Republican Party since 1988 and is also a member of the:

- Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), occasional
- Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA)
- Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity (PiKA)
